Two new earring additions

More pretty earrings! Well, they're the same style, but different colors with very different feels. I absolutely love these earrings, in both colors. They're marvelous!

They're available currently with five different colors of beads - Dew pink, baby blue, spring green, plum, and ruby. I especially like the plum and ruby colors with the brass, and the blue, pink, and green ones look wonderful with the silver. They're adorable and versatile, but best of all, they're affordable too.

New leaf pendant!

A new design, one I'm really happy with!

A delicate antiqued brass leaf, measuring about 1 and 1/4 inches in length, and not quite as wide. Like my In Bloom necklace, I paired this piece with a pressed czech glass leaf and flower. They make the most adorable jingling noise together.
The chain is antiqued brass as well, 18" long, and it's finished with a lobster-claw clasp.

It's available with four different colors of flower - Frosted lilac (shown), amethyst, periwinkle, and opaque blue. I'm hoping to have more color options for the glass flowers soon.

My husband's input on this proved very helpful. He was the one who urged me to get the leaf pieces in the first place, and he also encouraged me to add a glass leaf to it as well. I'm quite pleased with the results, and am proud to now showcase it in my Etsy shop.
Cheers!

Where to start...

So, I've never really done this whole blogging thing - I mean, I've kept a livejournal for my personal stuff, but I've never blogged with a purpose or intent, so this is all kind of new to me!

Let's start with an introduction, I guess. My name is Beth. I'm 22 years old, a former art major, and a loving housewife to a Marine. My greatest passions are writing and art, and I'm a bit of a jill of all trades. I draw and paint, have several novels I'd like to finish someday, and enjoy sculpting and sewing and jewelry making.
The latter is what this blog will be focusing on.

Moonsea Creations is my project, one of my 'babies', I guess you could say. I always have a lot of projects going at the same time, but this is one that I've always been interested in, not just a spur-of-the-moment of a flavor-of-the-week type thing. I've been making jewelry since I was a child, partly because my personal tastes are so extremely eclectic.

I like jewelry that is delicate and feminine, earthy and simple, elegant and complicated... And I also like things that are dark, gritty, and rather goth. That sort of diversity is something I've never been able to find in any other collections, and what little jewelry I have, I've collected from very many different places - Or else made it, myself.

Everything that I offer in my Etsy shop is unique and handmade, catering to a wide variety of different styles and tastes. I only work with quality materials - Things like gemstones, semi-precious stones, and a variety of metals and recycled components.

I hope you'll take a look, keep an eye on my blog for my newest projects and creations, and peek around my shop from time to time!!
